H. E. Vahagn Afyan, Ambassador of Armenia to India, delivered a speech at the event titled "MSME Connect: Global Growth Forum 2025."

In his address to the Indian business community, Ambassador Afyan spoke about the rapidly evolving global economic landscape and the increasing demand for deeper partnerships and innovative cooperation. He praised the dynamically developing Armenia-India relations and highlighted the growing bilateral partnership, which is moving toward a strategic level with multifaceted engagement.

Referring to Armenia’s economic growth indicators, the Ambassador encouraged attendees to engage more actively with the "Enterprise Armenia" Investment Support Center with the goal of establishing joint ventures. He pointed to investment opportunities in sectors such as information technology, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, textile industry, and tourism.

He also emphasised the importance of launching direct flights between India and Armenia, highlighting the role of improved mobility and business connectivity. In this context, Ambassador underscored the necessity of establishing logistical links with India, referencing the Armenian Government’s "Crossroads of Peace" initiative.

Ambassador Afyan concluded: “We envision Armenia as a commercial and transit bridge-not only geographically, but  strategically also—for Indian micro, small, and medium enterprises seeking to expand into new regional markets”.
